Small TV stand for bedroom

If you’re like me, you like to fall asleep while watching TV. Thanks to the thinness of LCD and LED televisions, it is now easier than ever to fit a TV in your bedroom. Mine is simply on top of my dresser, but if this is not possible for you, a small stand might be in order. What you need is something wide enough to fit the set’s stand, and ideally a shelf to place a DVD player or cable box, or both. Something that fits in to your bedroom’s decor is also an advantage.

Small cutlery tray

A cutlery tray is one of those household items you might usually purchase at the dollar store. After all, all the models available pretty much do the job well enough. But if you move into an apartment or house that has very small drawers, or perhaps that has very few drawers, you want to get a tray that will be small enough to fit in the drawer, and hopefully leave a bit of room for other things as well. Fortunately, there are small cutlery trays available that should do the trick, in plastic, metal or wood.

Small brass telescope

If someone you know has a nautically-themed room, a good present for them could be a small brass telescope. It is a beautiful decorative item, that is also fun to play with. The perfect knick-knack, if you will. Be aware that some of these small telescopes are made to be mostly decorative, and don’t work very well in terms of an eye-piece, while some others – more expensive models – also work very well as telescopes.

Small computer desk with file drawer

Whether for a child’s room, guest room or tiny office space, a small computer desk can accommodate one’s work and entertainment needs nicely. Most small computer desks provide enough space for a laptop or flat screen monitor, and come equipped with a mouse and Keyboard drawer. And some desks even come equipped with stationary drawers and a hanging file drawer for most, if not all, of your document storing needs.

Small wood corbels

If you find that the overhang of your kitchen counter top is in danger of sagging, add a couple of small wood corbels underneath for added strength and decorative appeal. Make sure though that the hardware includes the right size screws to fit into the wood through the metal bracket and into the wall or support structure. The last thing you want is for your corbels to not be able to support the load on top.
